🏜️ Simpson Desert — Crossing the desert and surrounding outback tracks

📍 Route: Coober Pedy → Oodnadatta → Dalhousie → Simpson Desert → Birdsville → Parachilna

💧 Highlights: Eringa Waterhole, Dalhousie Springs, Purnie Bore, Lone Gum, Knolls, Poeppel Corner
🌧️ Conditions: Recent wet weather, muddy tracks and flooded areas
A trip across the Simpson Desert following wet weather, with plenty of mud and water making the usual routes more difficult. We had to dodge muddy sections, drive around salt lakes and take a bypass at Eyre Creek before continuing through the desert to Birdsville.
